The model ESP is a revolutionary unhoused centrifugal fan designned for air handling applications. The fan pressurizes the plenum in which the fan operates and allows for ductwork to be directly connected to the plenum walls of the air handling unit. The plenum fan design saves space by eliminating the fan housing that can detract from system performance along with costly duct transitions. Plenum systems also work especially well with retrofit projects where limited space is a common problem.
The VSP Centrifugal Plug fan saves space because it usually needs no connecting duct work. The motor and drive assemblies are mounted on a sturdy base and directly fastened to the plenum wall, eliminating the need for extra support pedestals. The shaft goes through the wall and drives the fan wheel to circulate air in the plenum. These versatile units are designed to become an integral part of ovens, spray booths, HVAC or other equipment.
